Sire Line:
His sire is Alacazam who is a son of the 100 Day Stallion Test winner Puerto d'Azur. Puerto D'Azur was born in Belgium and imported to North America in 1997. In 1998 he became the 100 Day Test Champion with scores of 132.73 in Dressage and 127.09 in jumping. In 2006 he was taken to the BWP inspection where he received wonderful comments from the judges on his fantastic jumping ability as well as overall gaits. He comes from the sire line of Azur Despaultra who has numerous offspring doing upper level dressage as well as jumping in North America and Europe. Azur Despaultra sire is Grand Veneur who has over 332 offspring that are show jumping winners as well as 75 fully approved stallions. Puerto D'Azur's dam line of Jessy Girl is sired by Primo des Bruyeres who sired Jus De Pomme the double gold Olympic stallion of 1996 Atlanta Games as well as the Belgian stallion Fantastique who you still see in many of the BWP pedigrees in Europe today.
Dam Line:
His dam is the KWPN main mare book approved mare Necessity. Necessity, a successful jumper in her own right, is by the direct son of Ramiro Z, Rolando. Rolando is a full brother to KWPN approved stallion, Armstrong, who won the jumping test of his stallion inspection in Holland and Rolondo is a 3/4 brother to the late Zeoliet, a premiere sire of both dressage and jumping horses. Necessity's paternal grandmother is Terma, a keur preferent prestatie mare, one of the world's elite mares. Necessity is out of our foundation KWPN mare, Ursula who competed until age 14 at the Grand Prix level in jumping.
